i bought a bag from here that was later stolen-they weren't happy w/ their steal, b/c there wasn't anything of value to them-but now i have to buy a new translator book-they don't sell them here-only dictionaries. good thing it was cheap.

one girl told us "5 rmb" to take her picture! they live on our tourism money. sad, & we were bombarded w/ stalls of stuff. you couldn't enjoy it-we just walked as fast as we could to get out.
