our teacher friends' kids. she should be a music teacher(!), but is a 7's teacher...he's an art teacher, & both are incredible musicians. + hippies:) these are their 2 kids. she's my only piano student this year as a swap for drum lessons for luke from her dad!

the sweet mother hen of his class, vivian. she's always gently correcting & encouraging him!

the asian parents thought this was such a funny idea to have a pj party in the middle of the day. we asked them to bring a pillow, blanket, & stuffed animal:)

going to a theater is SO $ here, like $15+US/ticket, so this is really special.

in case you didn't guess, this is ian's classroom, in a nice new MS building,
which will be our Elem. sit next year.

the gifts!

elliot bought a toy smoking cigar, so ian brought all these sweet little 6-7 yr olds out on school property to smoke it up!! didn't even work.

i insisted on "story time"! they're like "mrs. hanson, when can we play on the computers???"

they often come here & blow their $ on these rides.
they take the bus all by themselves! sasha's lived here 2 yrs & knows how to do it.
